What Is Marriage Encounter

  The Episcopal Marriage Encounter Weekend is a marriage enrichment experience designed to make a good marriage between a man and a woman even better.

What it is:

• It is a unique program that re-energizes your relationship with each other.
• It is a positive, unique, and private experience between husband and wife.
• It is a weekend presented in an orderly and informative format.
• It allows you and your spouse to focus on each other.
• It is a non-profit, all volunteer organization.
• Time for husband and wife to be with each other and grow closer together.

What it is not:

• It is not a retreat, a marriage clinic, or a counseling session.
• It is not group discussions.
• You are not required to disclose any aspect of your marriage to others.
• There are no norms or levels to achieve.

Marriage Encounter is for married couples of any age that desire to enrich their existing relationship.  If you would like a greater depth, growth, and enrichment in your relationship, you’ll like the difference a Marriage Encounter weekend can make.
